There is no contract and no phone call. Cancel from the plan's page and the plan runs until the end of the period you have already paid for.
What happens
- Open the plan under Hosting. Cancel plan is in the Danger zone at the bottom.
- Confirm. The plan is marked to end on the last day of the current billing period, and no further charges are made for it.
- On that day the plan stops. The site, its databases, any Transactional Email sending domains on the plan and its stored backups are removed.
Add-ons attached to the plan end with it. Domains registered with phas are not affected: they stay in your account, keep renewing if auto-renew is on, and their DNS zones keep working.
Before the end date
Take a copy of anything you want to keep. If Managed Backups is on the plan, open a ticket naming a snapshot and we hand you the archive. Otherwise download the site and export the databases from the control panel.
Changed your mind
Cancellation cannot be reversed from the dashboard. Open a ticket before the end date and we reinstate the plan; after it, the account has been removed and a new plan would start from scratch.
