When a site outgrows its plan, upgrade from the plan's page. Nothing is reinstalled and nothing moves: the same account on the same server is resized in place.
How it works
- Open the plan under Hosting and click Upgrade.
- The checkout opens with the next plan up pre-selected. Pick a larger one if you prefer.
- The amount due today is the prorated difference for the rest of your current billing period, charged to the card on file. From the next period the new plan's price applies.
- Confirm. The resize happens within a minute and the site keeps serving throughout.
Moving to a smaller plan
Downsizing is not self-serve, because a site can hold more data than a smaller plan allows. Open a ticket and we check the plan will fit, then schedule the change for the end of your current period so nothing is charged twice.
